Paint For Tuscan Dining Room

Restaurant’s are always a good way to get ideas for home decorating. This dining room used a great color combination in the choice of paint for Tuscan dining room.

Of course the fireplace is huge… and the ceiling tiles wouldn’t be my first choice for intimate dining. :)

But… the medium wood tones and red brown leather color of the chairs are good choices for Tuscan dining rooms.

The red brick above the fire place is easy to achieve with paint. Really.

Tuscan Dining Room Paint It doesn’t take much to create a warm, rustic environment for a Tuscany style dining area.

Bricks can be painting to look like your fireplace has an exposed brick chimney or they can be used on the walls combined with a faux finish… so they look like broken plaster with bricks peaking out.

The walls in a Tuscan Style room are usually… (not always) but usually painted in gold. This is just a standard in Old World Design. I try not to fight the trends…

Instead of a gold faux glaze or gold faux leather wall finish… I would love to see something even more distressed like this picture.

The layers and cracks are amazing.. and of course you can learn how to create the cracks and bricks with the Faux Brick Video.
